Plumbing taking shape

Its starting to take shape.. I am not going to think abt my roof at this stage. too scary!
Sinks are going in - thats the kitchen area.

Looks good - I think I might have to contact Claytons Kitchen to get another pc of board to cover up the are where the dishwasher was meant to go as we are not having one installed.  No point when we have hands! :)  We have one in our current house for the past 8 yrs and never used it once!
Thats additional storage for us!

Toilet bowl in. Check.

Laundry sink in. - check.

Broken plaster - done to get the plumbing in - check.
( I would have thot they cut in and not smash it?)

Showers in - check.
Hope there is more progress to see in the next week!

This is embarassing!

On the 4th of Feb, Melbourne encountered very freakish weather and it poured more than 100mm in 20 mins. This is the aftermath.
Note: This is the bottom storey ceiling!

Welcomed by a waterry entry..... drips everywhere.

The entire garage is filled with water stains on all plaster walls.

Upstairs-  all the floorboards were wet - and now watermarks have formed.  Thats' Daniel's room.

Master Bedroom entry also showed signs of water...

I havent noticed this before... hmmm..

Water stains on stairs too...... this is really embarassing coming from a renowned builder, I am somehow worried about living there in this? It better get fixed and inspected. This is just wrong.

Beauty..... the right colours at last!

This is great- went to have an inspection today and we finally have our whitish looking kitchen cabinents! The wrong one that they gave us at first looked pretty bad..
Tiles and mostly done and the home is in FIX UP stage now, so its looking closer to looking like a home!

Slow and hopefully steady..

Back of house, bricking is really too slow for my liking, builder rang to say bricks are 80% complete; doesnt look like that to me..

Pleased to see that tiles have commenced!

Ensuite - the mirror goes in the middle, quite happy with the patterns picked especially on a tight budget. A little pattern is better than none!

We picked gloss tiles for the bath area but not the floor.

Common Bathroom.

Common Bathrrom - Tub

Found this horrible looking crack going down in the laundry chute upstairs.
What can that mean??? yuck yuck.

WAIT! it gets better!  Holes in the ceiling in one of the bedrooms? Were they trying to find the lighting points? hmmm..

Paintwork has also commenced,  a light beige colour was picked through the house with feature walls in RETREAT colour.

Corridor leading to the other bedrooms.

If they spray painted the top, the ceiling has a little paint too!

Half mast bricks!! grr.... 2 months later, still the same

Front Entry in Rice paper glazing.
Thats it for now, hopefully more updates soon!
